Kate is delighted to be an ambassador for the Diana Awards.

The awards are a lasting legacy to Princess Diana’s belief in the power of young people to change the world.

Said The Halifax Courier:

Calderdale businesswoman Kate Hardcastle was named as one of only five Diana Award ambassadors nationwide.

The latest title adds to an extensive list already held by Kate, founder of Dreamgirls charity and confidence campaign Positive Image, while she also runs her own business – Insight with Passion – and was even crowned as Tesco’s Enterprising Mum of the Year 2013.

From being 15 years old, Calderdale’s Kate Hardcastle has been a prominent fundraiser and campaigner in the Yorkshire community and beyond.

Holding a whole range of titles and awards, the founder of Dreamgirls charity and confidence campaign Positive Image, also runs her own business – Insight with Passion – and was even crowned as Tesco’s Enterprising Mum of the Year 2013.

And now Kate has even more to celebrate having been announced as an ambassador of the Princess Diana Award.

As part of a gathering of charities and organisations she’s associated with at the Cedar Court Hotel, Ainley Top, Kate was named as one of only five Diana Award ambassadors nationwide – and the sole representative up north.

Dear Kate,

An enormous thank you for inspiring the young people with your speech at last week’s event.

We’ve had some fantastic feedback from the young people who attended on the day and this wouldn’t have been possible without the positive, motivational messages in your speech.

Thank you again for being such an amazing part of Inspire Day and we hope to see you again soon.
